Tarot To-Go // October 23 – October 29

Guest post written by Victoria

Hurricane Irma did a number on my home state of Florida and set me back a few weeks here on Oddball Era. Luckily, most of us have returned to a state of normal and it’s officially time to get that tarot ball rolling again.

Whenever I start to doubt my magic, all I need to do is grab a deck and I’m reminded of just how much power we humans are capable of possessing.

Monday is the day named for our beautiful Luna — Lunes in Spanish, Lunedi in Italian — so pulling this card for this day was a great reminder of source connection. It’s appearance in our spread for the week means Monday (Moon-Day!) is ripe for a lot of self love and introspection. According to Tarot.com, “The MOON card represents the ultimate test of a soul’s integrity, where the membrane between the self and the unknown is removed, and the drop of individuality re-enters the ocean of being. What transpires next is between a soul and its maker.”

Transpiring next is the SIX OF SWORDS REVERSED, so keep an open and objective mind all day Tuesday — a lot of us will be ushered into a whole load of new-ness. Some of it might be uncomfortable but in chaos we find tranquility. When your moment comes, don’t despair; it’s only temporary and you will learn much.

Wednesday is a great day for making investments in your future. Start a savings account or make an appointment for a massage sometime next month to treat your future self. The SEVEN OF PENTACLES asks you to do something that won’t give you immediate results, but will pay off in the end. It’s a great way to build karma!

Thursday has a lot of potential to be a real downer as THE SUN REVERSED points towards temporary depressions or defeats. You’re gonna feel like you’re out of energy and patience but power through and you’ll be an inspiration to yourself!

I’m excited for Friday, gang! The DEATH card is one of my favorites to pull from my Rider-Waite deck — it’s the herald of change. Some things will have to end but it only creates space for new beginnings to emerge. It’s hard to let go of the past and become your best self but with perseverance, anything is possible. What new beginnings are awaiting you as soon as you put down your old baggage?

Get ready for this upcoming Halloween weekend — it’s gonna be hectic! The KNIGHT OF SWORDS brings in a lot of hasty energy and action! Be prepared for some much needed communication with friends and family at a quick pace. Anyone else love roller coasters? It’s time to buckle up, oddballs.

That about wraps up this week. How does this spread resonate with you? Let us know and check back next Sunday for another installment of Tarot To-Go!
