Tarot To-Go // January 16 – January 22

Guest post written by Victoria

Mermaids are kinda my thing. Most folks would call it an obsession but I like to think of it as more of a lifestyle, really. Case in point — my new tarot deck that totally could have been one of the merling must-have’s from Friday’s post!

So let’s dive in.

The overall theme for the next seven days is FAREWELL TO THE MOON as the effects from when Luna was full last week will start to weaken. The tide inducing celestial body will begin to wane into a whole new version of herself this week — a good time to check in with your own inner self. Make sure your needs are being met!

In the beginning of the week, we are being invited to find more RECEPTIVITY within ourselves. Receptivity to what? Well, that will depend on what the path before us looks like and what it is you’ve been trying to manifest. Perhaps it’s love, money, or joy? Oftentimes, the only thing stopping us from getting what we wish for is our own inabilities to allow it to be given. Trust that the Universe is giving you what you want and be willing to receive your gifts when they are handed over.

By midweek, it’ll be time for some fresh AIR. This card comes to us as a reminder to take a good, deep, breath at that halfway mark. Take some time to meditate on the first half of the week and use that knowledge to position your trajectory for the rest of it!

The end of the week brought up the TIME AND TIDE card. I think this speaks to our waning moon — she’ll be closing up her final quarter and whittling herself down to a silvery crescent as our week wraps up here on Earth. For those mystical beings among us, the end of the week is a good time for spell casting, no matter what your magic might be — art, cooking, music, spirituality — if you have a craft, this weekend is a great time to practice it.

That’s all for this week — I hope it treats you well. Leave us a comment on the accuracy of this spread and don’t forget to swim on!
