Stranger Kids

Stranger Things

Have you jumped aboard the Stranger Things train? If not, get with the times! Join the rest of the world! Be a part of the conversation!

Honestly, if you haven’t seen it, no hate. I was reluctant to watch it myself being that the rest of the world was obsessed with it. I didn’t know if I cared to be in that conversation. To me it was another “American Idol” or “Breaking Bad”. Two completely different shows, I just realized, but they’re examples of shows that the world shut off all their electronics to watch. Or maybe not, as live-Tweeting is a thing.

But I gave in, and I fully understand why people are obsessed.

The storyline, the twists and turns, the references, the characters, and the relationships between the characters are mesmerizing in a way. I get it.

But let’s stop to talk about the actors. The kids in the show seem like everything you want them to be in real life. They’re real in real life. And I’ve been keeping up with their appearances, and they just seem like amazing humans. I hope they stay this way forever because we all see the reoccurring downfalls of child stars. Let’s think positively though and celebrate them the way they currently are!

01. It’s obvious they care about each other.

It was said that when they met, they created a group chat, kept in touch and got to know each other that way. Since then, they seem like they’ve grown to become amazing friends. They make numerous appearances in groups, and you can see their chemistry off set is just as perfect. They’re a good group of young friends, and it’s visible they care about each other.

02. If interviewed correctly, they give great interviews.

So far, I haven’t seen many interviews with the kids that weren’t condescending. The conversation between Millie and Stephen Colbert is a good example of an interview that was done the right way. As for the two late night Jimmy’s: Kimmel was talking down and almost sounded like he slowed his sentences so he could be understood by a “child”, and Fallon doesn’t count because he’s basically like a child himself.

03. They get along with others.

I didn’t realize the internet had come up with conclusions such as the one mentioned in the video, but it goes to show that they love being a part of the conversation while joking around. It’s continuous entertainment for us!

04. They’re fashionable.

Need I say more?

05. They’re musically on pitch.

Once again, another point that is self explanatory.

Who else is praying for their future? Is it too soon to think about these things? I know it’s none of our business or concern, but thinking about stars such as Miley Cyrus, Amanda Bynes, Lindsey Lohan, Macaulay Culkin, Corey Feldman, Corey Haim…I’m sure you see what I’m getting at. A lot of child stars fall into a downward spiral and it’s sad to see them grow up doing harm to themselves. I hope with the modern age being a little different for these young folk, and hopefully with good parents, they’ll all grow up to be the good humans they are now and continue a successful career that will do more good than harm.

We can only hope! I definitely wish them all the success, as they all deserve it.

Who’s anxiously waiting for season two?
