No-Makeup Makeup?

I came across a recent “no-makeup makeup” trend being shown in Youtube tutorials featuring makeup to wear to make it look like you’re not wearing makeup. Hey, I have an easy answer how to achieve this no-makeup look: wear no makeup. BAM.

The no makeup look is my life. I wear practically no makeup – just the occasional coverup because let’s face it, my skin still breaks out every so often and I don’t wanna be seen in public like that.

Here are my favorite items to keep my skin looking good. So who needs foundation and blush? I don’t! … Mostly because I don’t care to add extra color to my face. I wanna show off my natural uneven skin tone, the dark circles under my eyes, all of it. Because it’s natural.

Foundation should be your natural skin, and taking care of it is important.
Coconut oil is fantastic. I don’t need any other moisturizer. This stuff is as natural as it gets and it’s all I need. I’ve recently taken a liken to witch hazel. I use it twice a day. Cotton swabbin’ after I wake up, and before I go to bed. These two seem to be working real well for me as daily products.
My coverup is a necessity. But I only use it on spots, not over my whole face. ‘Cause the pore clogging is when all hell breaks loose.
A lucky rabbit’s foot is also necessary to bring good luck to your skin, cause there are days where sometimes you need that luck.

As an every so often sort of deal, masks can do some good as well!

Everyone obviously has their preferences. If you want to wear makeup, wear makeup. If you don’t, that’s cool too. I just find it a little silly that there’s a method to make yourself look like you’re not wearing makeup.
This is my routine and my daily products, and I’d like to think I’m pulling off this no-makeup look pretty well. And my skin has been feeling great.
